.....is getting exciting again.
therefore i am living in germany it is allways a little exciting getting a pachislo. because of the high shipping cost and customs it is not realy an option sending it back when its doa.
plus that ups or fedex or if there are other ones who ship door to door are really expensive with an pachislo so i let it shipped to the next airport. this increases the excitment because you realy dont know who, when or even if they contact you after customs clerance.
you only have an tracking number and have to sit and wait.
i love it, i hate it, no i love it, no i hate it, ok i do love it, i realy dont know.
tracking is showing it is in flight form amsterdam to my airport duesseldorf right now. 3 steps with 3 flight changes, i hope it is packed well...

why i do love this pachislos? why dont take a fruitmachine? would be much easier. i dont know, i just love this little machiens. and thanks to you guys with all your fun sharing it to other people and this great forum its getting worse...

shortly after posting here they called me from the airport. it has arrived!!!
i spend the last two hours a customs and finaly after some euros and more than 5 stations and a lot of paper later i got it right out of the customs place. the box was without any scratch. i had to unwrapp the outer box to get it into my small 2 seater car. still wraped with foam a cant see too much but because of the box and what i can see, i am in good hope that it is fine. i will unwrapp and test it first thing when i get home in a few hours. cant wait to start it. hope the reals are fine. still exciting.....

i cant believe it. can it be true? it seems that the machine is brand new. at least i cant find any proof of usage. unbelievable.
and it is an incredible machine. huge display, very nice graphics and LOUD!! does anyone now where the loudspeeker switch is? i cant find it.....
you are often speeking of cotton balls for voice reduction. i am searching for the correct translation to find the product in germany. are this the tiny fluffy things for women for beautythings and so on? or what are cotton balls. please dont laugh. i am just looking for an voice reduction and dont want to go into cutting cables again

so thanks to dan from dgi for his service and looking for a fast and pricy way of shipping the slot.
their packing is very very good. so now for the second time i have a nice pachi running. i love this hobby
but i dont know if i can stand the excitment of waiting for the slot again..
would you bet on it? ;-)

Cotton balls are round balls of cotton, you can find them in beauty aid section of store,

take out the top 2 speaker screws, loosen the bottom 2 screws and put in cotton balls, start with 4 or 5 tighten down speaker and test it you can add more if you want it quieter.

thanks a lot luckydog. i will run in a shop tommorow to get them. the gamera is going to hit the bonus in the next few games an i realy want to hear it. i unpluged the speakers for the moment but it is only half the fun. so i wait till tommorow and will start with a big bonus :-)

Might be better to add a couple of volume controls if you are OK with a bit of simple wiring, I'm sure the cotton balls work but it might upset the frequency response of the speaker, doesn't seem right somehow

Can I ask how much the shipping was please ? And who the seller was ? (is DGI the Ebay ID ?) I'm still trying to get one of those Pachinko machines, non of which seem available in the UK

@si7: i had modified my other one the thunderbird with volume control. this time i want to try the other method, but i realy dont think that it will work. i will see today. my wife is bringing some cotton balls today and i will check it first thing this evening. if it is not satisfactory i will do the volume control tommorow.

dan from dgi is my contact. when i first contact him about shipping fees, he asked me if he could ship to nearest airport. so the shippingcost will go down to 260 Dollars. compared to 375 up to over 800 from other sellers this was great. plus that it seams that the slots at pachislot777 allways go away a lot cheaper than at some other ebay stores. for me it was 237 for the gamera which went for over 350 at other sellers a week bevor and a week after i purchased it.
they pack extreamly well and the two times i delt with them i ordered an extra 1000 tokes they put into the box so that they were no additional shipping cost.
but still there is the excitement because there is always the risk of transportation and you are not realy in the position to ship it back....

Yes! Didnt come out very good did it?

I tried the cotton balls on my King Camel they didn't affect it at all, and I had the speakers stuffed full too. Ended up with Vince's volume controls, they work great!
