    Default New and surprised

Had no idea there are so many pachinko fans.

First of all ... glad to be here.

I dropped enough yen into Pachinko machines in Japan during '68 and '69 to own one but never did until now.

Just registered with the hopes somebody might eventually discover my thread and help me.

A friend of mine who works at the local dump rescued a machine a while back but has no interest in or use for it. He tells me it was dropped off by a WWII vet who was in the occupation troops in '45 (slightly before I was born). He claimed to have ripped this one out of the wall during a bar brawl and carried it home. Since I'm doubting Japan used precious resourses to build pachinko machines during the war (which began for them in the '30's, I'd guess the thing dates to mid thirties or earlier.

It is in very good condition both front and back though I have no idea what kind injuries the jungle behind suffered during its "aquisition".

Interested in anything I can find out.
