    Default My first pachinko cabinet

Built this out of 1x pine from the local big box hardware store. It'll stand upright or hang on a wall via some french cleats on the back. At least I hope it'll hang on a wall, this sucker is heavy.

Looks nice! Good use of pocket holes. I really like the Kreg tool I have for them.

Yeah I've found the Kreg jig makes me look like a much better carpenter than I really am. I now wish I'd put the back pocket screws to the inside. It would make the back more attractive when sitting on a table. I like that the mechanisms are all visible too. I placed the side cutouts so I can reach the latches to open the door and front face when it's hung on a wall.

Some people expose all the pocket holes and use different color plugs to make kind of inlaid decorations instead of hiding them. Sometimes it looks pretty cool. I've never done that, but I've got a Kreg project book that they do it in and some things really pop with them different colors.

I probably should have just posted this here instead of starting a new thread, oh well. Here it is finally hung on the wall.
