    Default Newbie Restoration

This Pachinko game is been in the attic for decades. I finally drag it down away and am cleaning it up. I want to verify that it works correctly but Iím not sure what normal play looks like. Example what triggers a jackpot?
I see one broken piece and one disconnected linkage, perhaps someone can tell me what I should do there. I have attached pictures thanks for the help.

Pretty machine! Not sure about the linkage, but the jackpot mechanism has a broken piece that will prevent it working. I believe that it is a Sanyo, so parts shouldn't be too hard to find.

A jackpot is triggered by a ball entering one of the win pockets, including the tulips, which have a dual-type action. One entry opens the tulip, the next (usually) closes it. Any jackpot should pay the same amount of balls.

Peruse the site for a good general education in how the machines work. There are some excellent videos stickied above, as well.

The linkage is to prevent the over flow of winning balls. If it cannot be reconnected for whatever reason, it probably won't impede function.

Check out this link. I believe it is similar to your machine:

yes you have a Sanyo Comet II and it is broken at the jackpot.. as stated, the other pics should part of the over fill shut off and should not cause you any problems for home use..

    and of course

Thank you all for the help.
I bought a used jackpot assembly off eBay. This game is very dirty, it has seen a lot of action. The bells have dents they have rung so much! They also look like they have been dipped in lead...
I have to take it all apart it is so dirty. Some of the tulips stick and there are others issues. Taking lots of pictures along the way.
