Default Beeping Error Sankyo 1992 UFO

Hello all, my newly acquired 1992 Sankyo UFO machine is making this loud beeping sound if I trigger a fever mode and stop shooting balls before it ends. What’s up with this?? Is it a real error and is it something that can be fixed?

The red lights in the center and side are solid red when it happens.

Also, I’m looking for a couple replacement lights. Where can I find these?

I seem to recall the same beeping on my similar frame. The beeping would start if the rear reward hopper ran out of balls. It never happened again as long I kept up with shuffling balls. My machine is down for repairs now but I think the only way to stop the beeping that I found was to power down the machine. This seemed to reset everything back to regular play.

Seems like it was designed to alert parlor attendants that the machine needed some attention.

My hopper is definitely full when it happens, so I’m not sure that will fix it. Unplugging and powering it back up always seems to reset it, but I’d rather it just not happen in the first place. Lol

I have a machine in that frame...however, I have never experienced any errors of any kind. So, I can't help.

Older machines will error if they are in a fever/bonus mode and no balls are making it into the jackpot door or tulip etc.. Because in a parlor no one would ever stop shooting balls on purpose during a fever so the machine thinks there's a problem!!

That might just be what was going on when I had the beeping. Rather than the hopper being empty I took to long refilling the hopper and not shooting balls which triggered the alarm.

Agree with the last 2 posts. I have several of the 80's machines that will error out if you don't get balls into the jackpot during bonus rounds.

Try playing it into the bonus mode again and see if you can progress to the end without getting the error, then you will know.

Don't know what to tell you about the lights. Are they soldered into the little board, or can you pull them out of a socket?
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

The machine will absolutely circuit all the way through the fever mode. No issues. It plays a little tune at the end.

i believe they are little plugin lights! They have a circuit board on the backside of them, but I’m sure they are plug-in style lights, although I have not tried removing one. Lol

Lights most likely have a silicone base with 2 holes in them. Bulbs have bare wires that go thru the holes and the entire thing sits on two pins on the board.

This is the type of replacement you are looking for. It's not an endorsement for the company, just an example.
