    Default starting a playfield replacement

I am at the point of removing the nails from the play field, but I am stuck.
Is there a special tool out there that is used to remove the nails?
Is there a video on how to remove the playing field and all the pieces on it?

You should read through this thread => http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...ight=playfield

It will answer a lot of your questions.

I used terminal pliers and a block of wood to pull the nails when I did mine. The opening was small enough to get under the head and lift the nail up, but was loose enough to not scar the nail shank. Took about 45 min.

Link straight to the pdf. => http://www.pachitalk.com/keep/replacement.pdf

I use a tack puller with a block of hardwood and an easyout for adjustable height.20190111_153456-1.jpg

I saw somewhere (it had to be one of these forums) someone who made a nail pulling tool out of some cheap needle nose pliers. They used a dremel rotary tool to cut a notch that the nail head would fit in and a groove down each face of the needle nose for the nail shaft. But I can't seem to find that thread now.

      Re: Removing nails
I use a modified corkscrew puller for mine. I bought the corkscrew at taget for about $3. The I drilled out the rivet that held the actual corkscrew part in and then I pulled it out. I replaced it with a piece of metal bent at 90 degreese with a V cut in the end of it (I couldn't replace the rivet so I just glued in this part; sorry I forgot what I used on it). The only other mod that you have to do to this is I would personally cut off the legs on it and then glue on some pieces of plywood as it is much stronger than the aluminum feet that were on it. I personally like the corkscrew puller because it just makes it easy on you all you have to do is push down on the arms and the nail pops up. No pulling at odd angles and putting pieces of wood under your puller. Below are some pictures of my puller.
