Default An unknown pachinko machine or a childhood memory

When I was a kid, my friends father had a pachinko machine. What I remember, is that the jackpot was in a totem pole configuration. I think there were two or three tulips with gates in the totem pole configuration with one jackpot tulip at the bottom. I think the center piece had to do something with owls (not positive). My friends father told me when he bought it, that there was supposed to be a special jackpot that would release a gold ball along with the regular jackpot winnings. However he claimed that he could not find this "special" jackpot on the back side, so it may have been a tall tale spun by the previous owner. I believe that the pachinko machine was made in the 70's. I remember the parts on the back were brown in color. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of the machine. Would anyone know any machine matching my description? I would like to know what it was, so I can find one and buy it.

Not a vintage expert so can't help you much..But I can pretty much say that the gold ball thing, was not a thing..

When I hear brown back parts the thing that comes to mind is Nishijin "B type" machines from the 70's..they had a few different colors, but most seem to be brown..I think that probably narrows it down to a few hundred different machines..

Will keep an eye out for owl machines..

Here is a "B type" Nishijin that usually has brown back parts..

And here is an "A type" Nishijin with brown parts also..

All I remember is that the totem pole ( a term I use loosely) had wing/gates that would open if a ball went through the middle. What I remember the most is the strange way the jackpot was located. I think it was two covered gates and one jackpot gate on the bottom.
