Hey Arby,

I only have a feedback of about 14 and am still new to E-Bay. In spite of than newness, however, you do not see me in that bidding. I thought I might like the Twist machine, but it is going to have to be at a much lower price. I was thinking of the deal Big Bear has on three machines right now ($166 each) and was tempted to make the $500 plunge for three of them. Then I realized that I have yet to pay $166 for any of the four machines I have - including the shipping. I am still thinking about the $59 special jacagan has right now. A machine that uses manly tokens for about $130 with shipping. I like that idea, but we still have not purchased a home, and my wife will kill me. Some day I would like to get a machine with manly tokens.

I'd say you start to get out of newbie status some time around 50 and up. It also counts how long you've been on eBay for getting out of newbie status. In other words, if you've only got 23 feedbacks, but have been online for several years, it would help ya along. On the other side of that coin, if you've only been on eBay for one month and you have a lot of feedback for that month, you're still a newbie.

Just looked at your ID and you've been on eBay for over a year and with your 23 feedbacks, you do start to get trusted at this point. You're probably out of the Tokie Owens status.

Least we forget that those 23 feedbacks are really 35 purchases. Mostly slots. So when you buy from someone you've already purchased from, even though you paid just as quickly, eBay says sorry charlie, no star for you.

I've been on Ebay for about 4 years. I have bid on maybe 200 items (lost most because the price went too high) and have one about 20. I have an FB of 9. Glad to know I'm still new at this.
