Default New switches for vintage machines

I want to upgrade the old switches in my 67 and 71 Nishijin pachinko machines. Does anyone have a recommendation on an upgrades switch that works better than the originals? I want to make sure that I but ones that turn on and off quickly, can work in vertical and horizontal orientations and that will operate using the very light pressures that the machines generate.

    Thanks for the advice!

I used a micro-leaf switch for my Jackpot Light because I couldn't repair the leaf switch on it. I had to extend the leaf part it with a small peice of metal though. There are straight leaf switches but the screw holes are perpendicular to the base. 20181114_183954.jpg20181114_183959.jpg

I've used these in my machines so far.

Omron D2HW-C221H (long leaf, solder, SPDT, screw mount) ← Very Micro switch

    I want to try the
Omron V-153-1C4 but I haven't found a supplier that carries them yet.

Another bit of advice, for the "out of balls" switch. Setup the micro-switch so that the wire in the machine activates the switch when the balls are there, and releases when the machine runs out of balls. You'll wire up the switch for NC (normal closed) operation instead of NO(normal open) as well. Otherwise, you'll hang up the machine because the switch has too much resistance.

I have thought about using the same type switches on my machines that need a replacement switch.

Update - the micro leaf switches worked perfectly. I had to extend the lever but otherwise they are a great find, operate dependably and are quiet. Hope this helps someone else with the same issue.
