I think I am interested in "Twist" and "Thunderbirds" but would like some help in choosing a third machine..... if any of the other PA'ers want a single machine I am willing to add a couple to my order for them. I am in Cranberry (30 min north of Pittsburgh).

I say that with the knowledge of having owned quite a few of those already so no need to go down that path. Now if Jay has only the two machines listed in his sig I would from all accounts I've heard steer him away from that Twist as they never garner great reviews from people.

I can't say I've played the TomCat myself, it's just one I would want and the reviews have always been spectacular. I already have the Neo Planet and the Magic Pulsar, also great choices in that list. The Hound Dog would be another great choice. Azteca Legend/Return or another premium would be the Beast Sapp. Although I shy away from that one after my Punch Rush experience but that's a personal thing as many people seemm to love the Beast Sapp.

Again personal opinion as many things influence someone buying decisions but I would put any of those listed above the Twist for playability. While it does play that ever familiar song, nothing but a flashing red light and it only plays that song during a bonus round, it's a bit on the lame side.

That's quite a drive from up this way... probably a good 4 to 5 hours.

As far as a third machine, the Tom Cat and the Speed Racer look like great deals. They usually go for a lot more. Beast Sapp is very cool, too.

If I had the fundage I would jump on that with ya (being only 30 min. north of ya), but things being the way they are.... I would go for the TomCat, it has a nice F-14 theme and if I remember correctly plays a midi verion of the theme from Top Gun. And like Tulsa said all the reviews on it were always great.

Jay - I have to tell you that I love my *TWIST*...but that is because it is my only machine. From what I've read on this forum, everything else out there seems to be more interesting and and involved than the TWIST. Tulsa is right...you will get a rotating red beacon light before you go into bonus...but there is no sound with it. When you go into BB you will get fifties music...but I don't think there is enough there to keep a guy intrigued. I would recommend that you grab something else...unless the *TWIST* is for your wife...she might like it fine.

BTW all.......we can do that diner thing anytime you want.........my brother lives in Erie and I think it took me 6-7 hours to get there from West Chester.

theres money in the diner business i know a greek family that owns a family diner in some small town around here who has been able to put all three of their children thru college and really good colleges and they own 2 houses and both drive new vehicles.

The money is decent...but we certainly do not live on par with most of the other people around here. West Chester is a pretty nice little area. My kids are always asking when we're gonna be rich like the other kids in school. Never, I guess. I'm feeling a little guilty about the kitchen though....seeing as how I DON'T COOK!!!
