Default Azteca legend returns proper way to turn off

When I flip the power switch on the power supply I loose all settings... and must re-enter the date and time... is this normal? Or what am I doing wrong?

My guess is that the capacitor that was used to save the settings doesn't hold power anymore..

Mine does the same ,suggest you use surge protector to protect circuit boards and limit amount of times you open and close front door, put one behind machine turn it on/off from protector date doesn't matter screen will activate in a few or once you load coins and play
