I must have gotten a Camel with dipswitches that work on the top speakers, cuz mine isn't that bad at all. I needed volume control on the bottom speaker, but the top ones aren't that bad, and I have these in a small room too. Hmmmm makes one wonder.

Im with Lddrizzt on these speakers. My bottom speaker was way too loud, but the top 2 are just fine. I dont see any reason to adjust the top ones at all???

Tulsa, on those top speakers, just put a 1 or 1.5 k resistor on each one. Those are those Sammy piazzo tweeters that don't work well with the lpads. Mine were also too loud and 2 $.19 radio shack 1k resistors work just fine. I did put an lpad on the bottom as that one would crack window glass.

I used those tiny ones from Syscom not the lpads. For these piazzo's though, the resistors may be the way to go.

I have read a lot of posts on the King Camel volume and am beginning to think that they made more than one model of it. I gaurantee you the volume on mine no matter which position you had the volume switches in would hurt your ears. It was so loud that my wife left the house. I have never tried the Lpads, but I did use Vince's vloume controls on all three speakers and now it is a delight and crystal clear.

    The saga continues...

The volume is fine until it goes into one of it's bonus chance rounds. Then they kick it up about 400%. This just might be the first slot I've wanted to mount external volume controls on.

Now for the play again. It pays and pays and pays and pays some more. I have played more on this machine without having to load tokens except once. Now I still have the level set to 4 but that's going to go up soon I'm sure. I hit the bells, 10 times in a row. Just when you think you're going to run low and have to reload, there's another bell..

This IS one I put the Lpad through the side on so I could control it from the outside. You're right about the volume level changing. I find myself varying it quite often. Have you had the "lamp guy" show up in the LED on the right yet and shoot what looks like a bazooka at the reels which moves them up or down one at a time when you stop them? At some point, all 3 reels do a "wave" move also.

I've seen that "wave" motion several times, but so far the reels always come back to where they started.

I think I'm at the point where I wish they had an entire casino of King Camel's in Vegas. Four nights now at this machine and I've still only loaded it with 50 additional tokens one time. Once in four days! I get it down to 20 or so and I start hitting again.

Finally a machine that not only does not need an auto-stop but the auto-credit would be pointless too.

Oh and before I forget. Props to Milt. My KC came with the belly glass scratced up a bit. Not too noticible but enough that I want to replace it with something better. I contacted Milt to see if he had a glass that would fit and no problem.

    Thanks Milt!

Since the KC is notorious for it's nudgging, how ofton does this occur....say once per how many plays? Is the nudgging the same or is it diffrent each time it occurs? When you have stopped the reels and it takes off again, will it stop automaticly or do you have to stop it again? Does the led add anything to the enjoyment of the game, does it serve a purpose, or does it just randomly flicker the diffrent characters?

Granted Tulsa, you have only had it for a few days, but how about a preliminary rating 1-10?

Maximus, it does something each time I play it. If you feed it for about 10-15 minutes, you will get some quirky thing. The leds have each of the characters on the front glass, the lamp guy, the moon guy and King Camel appear. Each time they seem to give you a "hint" for the play. I haven't figured them all out yet, (I need to check BigBear and see if they have any of this, but haven't for awhile), but it does seem that when the lamp guy points his right hand all the way to the left, and you stop the buttons from the left, it helps line up the reels. The moon guy has a star that circles around him and it seems that if you stop the left reel when the star is all the way to the left, again, it assists with lining up the reels. The camel doesn't appear very often, but it usually is accompanied with a "cyclone" like thing, that ends up taking control of the reels and brings on a camel chance. I'm not sure I've seen it all yet, as every now and then something new appears. It seems to like it the most when it takes control of the right reel and acts like you are going to win, but stops the reel one space short, and makes a sound like "nah, nah, nah"... really pissed off the wife.

lol....lol....sound good, my giga fever 4th reel will spin automaticly, stop, all three 777 will show, then a sucking/slurping type noise comes on and it moves to a non win postion. The teasing keeps the game interesting and it sound like the KC is the king of that.
