    Default Idol Electrical hookup

Well, I've run into a brick wall on hooking up the lights on this Idol. I've found both.... don't know what to call them but they're the pieces that trigger a light coming on. I cannot find either bulb. It has both posts and .... don't know what to call it white connector with 3 wires coming out. In the picture, a double trigger is on the left and there's another single above the red piece on the right. all the wires are behind the back pieces of the game.
    Please help!20181005_115049[1].jpg thanks ~Leah

That's a switch, specifically a microswitch. I don't know that unit, but from the position, I'd assume that's likely the 'ball out' switch. That white plug is likely the power input (8-12v DC, depending on the bulbs)

As far as finding the bulbs, just follow the wires, and look behind where you think the payout and ball-out lights are, based off the design on the front. Upper left corner is common for the ball-out light, behind the center mechanism or off to the right side are common locations for the jackpot light. (R/L from the front of the system)

It's clear to me that the yellow double microswitch on the left should control either one or two bulbs when the balls are out AND when there is a payoff. There should be another bulb for payoffs I would think. Still, no power source affects any bulbs. The adaptor is 12volts and I have 12v bulbs. THANK YOU for your assistance!

Looks to be a removable back. Why not remove it and find the bulbs.

Hoping to find a simpler solution before I tear into it. Will keep going. I just expected easier access to bulbs. Thank You! ~Leah
