    Default Help identify Pachinko Machine

Hi all... My grandparents had a pachinko machine when I was a kid and I have always wanted one of my own. Well, today I picked one up off Craigslist and now I need to identify it so I can get parts and bring it back to life.

Any tips or tricks would also be appreciated. I do not want to do a full restore and change the graphics, just get it cleaned up and working well.

Looks like an Old Nishijin Sophia to me. Pre-1970 or very early 70’s.

Nice machine, nonetheless. I just picked up my fifth machine at an antique festival. My first one was purchased in January of this year. Be careful - they multiply! 😂

It is also a model a which is fun to play and you don’t need as many balls.

The part in the tray (in the 1st pic), goes on the track coming out of the lower tray on the back.

Can't remember how it is attached without looking at one of my Model A machines.

Thank You. I figured out it goes on the middle tank and over the track. There is a pin missing that holds it on and the tank has a broken tab. I will have to figure out to rig a pin to hold it in place.
