Machine ID

Evening all,
new here, starting to work on restoring/modding a machine I inherited from my dad.

Trouble is, I have not idea of the model or it's workings. My machine is one of two that he brought back in the Navy. My sister has the other one, which was in working order as a kid. This machine, never worked that I know of or remember.
