If you connect the wires to bypass the swtch the bulb should light. If no light your problem is in the wiring.

I bypassed the switch, and when I touch the wires, nothing is lighting up. I’ll post more pictures tomorrow on how I’ve wired everything to the box in the upper right corner on the machine, but I’m baffled.

i would recommend ya start over and think of it as a loop.. power into the fuse, from the fuse to the switch, from the switch to the bulb and then back to the power..
keep in mind that an original machine used the low ball switch for two features.. it lite the light for the player and let the parlor know that machine was out of balls as well.. that feature was separate but controlled by the same switch.. no need for the parlor warning feature at home..

just wire it in a simple loop.

I am not an “electric” person but when I had the same issue, my wire thingy was on the wrong side of the switch. I moved it and bam, I got both lights to work. I also eliminated the yellow.

i have a couple of my machines working, and one not. Lol. Still trying to track the bad solder dammit!

OK, a few things I can see.

Assuming the switch works, the second wire should be on the NO (Normally Open) position. That other switch you're posting pictures of is a different switch, and likely has different connections.

Now, the light socket has 2 terminals. The yellow should come back from the switch to one terminal on the light, and then go back to the yellow terminal on the block.

What is connected to the other terminal? If I'm seeing things correctly, it should be an orange wire?

I realized I should clarify. On the switch you have, the 2 wires should be on the NO (Normally Open) and COM (Common) terminals. And right now, the fuse is bypassed, if you remove the fuse it won't matter. move the white wire to the other terminal to re-enable the fuse.

If you're not sure about the switch, make sure the light comes on when you cross the white/yellow wires together before you worry about the switch. Once that works, you can see if the switch works.

A basic multimeter is a great tool to have. If you have a Harbor Freight store near you, the usually have a coupon for a free meter every few months. Not high quality, but fine for most of the work you're likely to be doing at this point.

Also, I believe if you look at the sticky threads at the top of the forum, one of them has a wiring diagram buried in it somewhere.

    Thank you for your help!

Here is how it currently sits. I soldered the red wires to the fuse. Still not working when I touch the yellow and white wires together. 🤨

Yeah so basically I’m done messing with it. I don’t know how to get it to work, and I burned my hand with some solder today. Definitely pissed off.

Always check your corroded light bulb sockets.... 😑

The yellow wire soldered to NC2 looks like it's not a good solder joint? Most of the wire is not involved?

Could be a bad switch. The switch can be tested independently of the circuit with a bulb and a battery and alligator clips. Do you have those things?
