Default Have you ever heard of this?

I was looking at a Heiwa Inoki Suro on Facebook Marketplace. The seller says it needs a new door key, but can freely open the door. I asked if he has a reset key as well and he says this model doesnít have a reset key. Keep in mind, Iím a total newbie and this question probably has been answered before, but is this true? To my little knowledge, I thought all machines had he door key and the reset key. Thank you for your replies in advance.

Well I would have though it needed a reset key, unless someone has already replaced it with a rocker switch

Did the seller have pictures of the inside showing the power supply or reset area? If not then request that of him/her.

Post an image here if you'd like additional opinions as some of us do not us Facebook or cannot access the same seller information.

Petey, Clam, thanks for replying, he sent a video earlier, I watched it on my phone but it looked like he filmed it with an old Super 8 camcorder. Now that I'm on the PC let me see if I can grab a screenshot from it, now that I know what to look for.

That's the best I could get, he kinda zips around the insides of it, but he did show off the gameplay mainly, not sure what you could make of this. He's selling it fairly cheap and he's not too far from where I live.

I can't discern anything from that tiny pic either. Try this: when you see him, ask him to show you how to change the payout level (and then do it). Failing that, ask him to demonstrate the reset procedure. Clam may be right; the key switch may have been replaced with a rocker/toggle switch. I always do this when buying one w/o a reset key. As far as I'm concerned, not having a reset key is simply a point of negotiation. Good luck with it, SixGun.
