Default Started with a vintage but just purchased my first modern machine.

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the game. Started with a vintage, which may still be my favorite, but I now have a pachislo and just purchased my first modern pachinko. Got a deal I couldn't pass up, came with a cabinet, tons of balls, and an original ball tray.

Having trouble uploading images right now but here's a link to the same machine, it's the matrix theme. http://www.dragonfly-amusement.com/p...atrix-uk.shtml

I am currently modifying the cabinet to have a more stable base and so that the authentic tray fits under the catch area. I do have a few questing though.

    1) I broke the key off in the machine almost immediately I got the other half out luckily but can I purchase a new key anywhere?

    2) I really have no idea what the buttons on the front do, two white buttons below the playing screen and the big button in the front with two arrow buttons on either side.

Any sort of videos or tutorials on these daiichi machines would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys!

So I put some temporary feet on it at the width I'd like the new base to be for a trial run. It's plenty stable, I do have some balls falling out of the back so I will have to make some minor adjustments to the cabinet. The table is temporary as well, if like to build a shelf for it and have it on the wall/ ledge. That being said, this thing is way to much fun, I'm definetly sold on the modern pachinko. Also, it tells you when to press the big button during play but I'm still not sure what the others do.

Ah, we've hooked another one! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

The buttons on the front are used in a parlor setting for dispensing balls. A member here hacked that and came up with a device that plugs into a port on the back (DB25 connector) that mimics being attached to the palor.

    nice machine

a Daverob dongle is a must have... next best thing since sliced bread.

sounds like your hooked.. keep in mind a larger hopper on the top of that cabinet will keep the weight off the plastic one and increase game play time..

I have a Matrix machine also, and have never used arrow buttons yet, so maybe made for different game in same frame, you started out with one of the best machines, have fun

Playing on the machine tonight I hit a couple jackpots, I have to tap on the back or keep the hopper pretty much full to the top to get the balls to feed from the hopper into the payout area sometimes. Any suggestions?

That may be it, it's leaned slightly toward where it's at right now.

So I leveled up the machine better and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Do these machines have any sort of settings on them? There is a reach scene I noticed on some videos I watched where the character jumps from one building to another, on mine the reach part happens then it just goes back to the number scene. I have yet to actually see the character make the jump on mine.

Watched the video again, I think that was in a jackpot/bonus mode.

Been busy so I haven't had time to post but the machine is running great. I built a couple shelves along the wall for the pachinko cabinet and a pachislo I have. Also eliminated all of the loose Balls! Put a funnel in for the return balls and closed up the hopper on top so I can load as much balls as the external hopper will hold, working great so far. Will hopefully post pictures soon.

I've also got most of the buttons on the back and reset procedures figures out if anyone with the same or similar machine has any questions.

Did you figure out how to drain balls from top to bottom, mainly for when moving machine, to make it lighter, I've done it once, but this frame isn't as easy as almost every other frame made. It's not just a switch or lever for this one

Yes, mine drains by simply pressing the square black button on the back.
