    The holes weren't too small to poke the wire through? It wasn't easy to pull the rusted clips out. I was wondering if you had to drill the holes slightly.

    I did- but do it before you add the cel.

    I had to because I had glued my layers back. It may be you need thinner wire. With 20g wire I made it through. I folded it in half and made a tight crimp at the fold so I could get both loose ends through at the same time.
