    Default Lever install on vintage

I am in the last steps... I noted when I took apart my dolphin machine that the lever was bent a bit, but it seemed to be okay. Now putting it back together, I realize looking at other machines it is missing parts (like a lock washer) and it is just not... going together but I also can’t get it off because it is bent.

When I install the flipper in front, it hits the wall in front! I can’t get it off the wall!

Instead of sliding neat in the slot, it hits the races... (ugh, I need to tap in a few things better!)
Is my only option sawing this thing off? I tried to take the nut off that holds it on, and someone messed with it before, and it must be the wrong size, it is completely seized.

And I put my cel on too high.

Note to others... if you have to glue your field layers back together, pre-drill your race holes before putting on your cel. All mine lined up but the glue filled two.

Yikes..... I have a parts machine I could pull the shooter for ya.

The cell height could be effecting the shooter position.

Thank you for the offer, but I have a parts machine too... I thought maybe it was the cel, but all the other parts are lining up fine, I am hitting holes aka the old cel lined up with the peg, and I got the field in and races no issue (except for the glue). It is more a tilt isssue from the bend... and I can see a black mark on the wood where the it was rubbing inside before. I never played this machine at all before I tore it apart. Mistake.

After a a lot of swearing (a lot, because I have been trying to get this damn thing to line up for a week), I rigged it with some washers to tilt it, but it is supported. It hits high. The only way to get it off will be to cut it...

Now the door won’t latch... omg, the latch thing on there is frozen up, and the wrong type for the door. The donor will be naked soon... hopefully it will be done and shiny soon.

I put it together and it won’t feed but it will shoot...
Taking it back apart again. So close. So close.

The jackpots are not paying either, so back to basics... at least I know it is clean!

Got it going by installing a few washers under the lever in the front, which tipped it back just enough to set it perfectly as it was just a few millimeters off. Just have some cosmetic issues (stickers and all) and pin issues as the balls get stuck. The door issue was that the door lever pulled out, not up () and the cams hold it firm against the door. It was fussy, I had to find the glass that came out of the machine. Easy fixes. Got the power going and the jackpot fixed. Thanks for your help. One done... 3 more to go!
