    Default 74 sankyo replace lock

    I don't know how to replace the lock in this machine. Any suggestions?

    most of us don't bother since the back is wide open.. i have had a few keys cut over the years but never for that style of lock..

    let us know if ya can get a key made of it... I would like a copy

    Beautiful machine!

    I have one with the same center attraction, but everything else is different. Looks like the center part is powered because it turns so quickly and stops so abruptly, which is pretty neat. I wish my machine was so clean...

    I don't have any keys for any of my machines. If you wanted to seal it up, you could make a simple linkage that pulls the door latch mechanism to provide access from the front. Such as a cord with a pull ring on it.

    I opened up the lock itself (not that hard) and removed all the tumblers, then I just found a key that fit the lock. Now it's just a fancy door latch.
