    Hello and Welcome.

Look with a magnifying glass at the sticker in the top right to see if you can see any legible numbers, guessing late 60's.

    Early front overflow, cool machine

    first off

    Welcome to Pachitalk

looks like a converted single shot to me.. neat machine...

i can see where the out of ball lever has been broken loose so the machine will work without balls..

otherwise looks like it would be an easy fix

And of course it looks like the cover is missing to keep the balls in line, but you can make that.

So I did take a magnifying glass to tje sticker . I don't see any numbers...there are more japanese (?) Letters embossed on the sticker...i did also find stickers with a patent number 715180.

We did also find a tub with the pachinko balls in it..there are a few pretty rusty ones..but most of them look good.

Does it pay out to the top tray, or do you have to hand load the winnings from the lower tray to top?

The reason I ask...is the top tray looks like the balls fill it from the rectangle hole to the left. Looking at the back, that area would be at the level of the "drain" hole, but to the right. I don't see anything that looks like the balls would go to the top tray. All indications point to payout to the bottom tray. This would very likely to make it a single ball conversion...like Mopar said. SBC machines are usually front overflow as well.
    Beautiful machine!

This is your ball dump lever. It is in the open position. Make sure you slide it to the left before filling the reward hopper...or you will have all of them dump onto the floor!

Of course with the plastic arms fully to the right, I'm not certain that it is open. Plus, the brass part below the plastic arms should be straight up. That is the part that Mopar was talking about. When balls are not in the tracks, a pressure plate lifts (from the weight of the plastic arms). The plastic arms move left. The brass part should be directly below the flat (horizontal) part of the arms. This makes the brass part stop when contacting the plastic arm(s), thus stopping a jackpot. Many people who don't understand how it works, disable this function, only seeing that it is stopping it from working. Maybe because they don't have enough balls to keep it full, and play. It it to prevent jamming when balls are empty and winning balls keep trying to trigger an empty jackpot.

    to Pachitalk!

I'm going to guess that is probably a 67-68 Kyoraku. I have seen a few that were built around 71 and this machine has a lot of changes compared to those. But oddly the back mechanics to share some similar parts.

Certainly a cool machine and I really love that gold tray.

    100 machines and counting...
