Now theres true skill stops when Cherry or Watermelons show up. If you hit cherry on the first reel you can stop second and third reel on cherry. Same goes for watermelons. You have to focus your eyes on the reels. When in bonuses if you don’t pay attention you can miss a line. Newer machines will tell you which to stop first.
    Newer machines also have rush modes which allow you to stack your bonuses. it is true that you can eye shoot your cherries, however, if the machine only wants you to have a week cherry then thats all you will be able to get. Same goes for middle and strong cherries. The key is knowing whether or not its your fault or the machines fault if you miss or not. Its good to look at your reel lay out first to see what you want to shoot for. You want to find something on each reel that sticks out like a 7 or a bar but also thats next to or close to both a cherry and a watermelon. So essentially you will be eye shooting for that rather than actually eye shooting for the actual cherries and watermelons. The machine will slip in your favor as long as you are close. If you land on the shape of your choice then you will be able to continue to play this way the whole time and you will know when something is your fault or the machines fault and you will also be able to tell if something is about to happen or if you are going to get a chance pattern or a reach pattern.

    WOW -- as a complete newbie to pachislo, this thread has been *most enlightening* as well as entertaining to read thru just now -- suddenly I feel like I've got a whole new perspective (which I certainly wouldn't have ever guessed on my own?!) to learning to play my CLUB RODEO machine!!

    THANKS Y'ALL!! :applause: :thumbsup:

    Hesitant to add this as I'm entirely too new around here to really know one way or the other, OTOH, there's that "fresh eyes viewpoint" thing...??

    Anyways, one of the first things I noticed when I got my machine running was that is reels also move slightly *sideways* back and forth while spinning -- a motion totally common to moving wheels of most any kind whatsoever in any application. In other words, the outer edges of the reels (being not perfectly centered/balanced/etc on their axles?) sorta 'undulate' back and forth while spinning, in a rather regular 'wave' of motion corresponding to whatever RPM it is spinning at, and FWIW I have been thinking (maybe wrongly?) that the observation was helping me a little to 'hit' any odd reel to land somewhere...??

    @AnythingObscure

    im pretty sure that that isn’t an intentional skill stop design. However, it is an interesting observation and might be worth taking advantage of when aiming for things!

    Goobie, I certainly wouldn't think it was an 'intentional design feature' either -- just something I noticed shortly after getting the reels in my machine to spin the very first time.

    I also have no idea whether it is a common characteristic of pachislos in general, but FWIW if I do sorta watch the undulations while hitting the stop buttons, it kinda *does* seem to help ending up with winning combos of the yellow 'bell thingies' and blue 'viagra pill thingies' lined up...?? :question:

    It seems to be pretty noticeable in my opinion. Especially when you play like a juggler or something.

    Viagea pills LOL had me a good laugh. Appreciated.

    I have a couple with reel wobble.

    I imagine the reel supports get warped from internal heating/cooling, being of cheap plastic, laying on their side, time, whatever...

    I have thought about trying to heat up the reel to axle support with a hair dryer to see if it can be made to wobble less, but when I consider the possibilities of making it worse, I chicken out.

    I guess as long as they don't rub, it's all good.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o
