    Default LCD Screen

I have the itch to get a second machine in the near future. On my first ourchase I shied away from anything that had an LCD screen due to lack of technical skill. I thought if something went wrong with a machine that has an LCD it would be tough to fix. Has any of the LCD owners had any trouble with their LCD'S? Are they easy to repair?

i have never heard of anyone with lcd problems,
they all have a heavy plastic cover over the front for protection.
most of my machines have lcd screens.

Well Kingsmen, since you just rewired your house, I think an LCD screen machine should be a piece of cake...............

i have a real voltage machine, and the lcd screen broke,, i took it to at-slots to be fixed,, and watched him as he was fixing it,, all he did was replace a group of wires that were connected to the lcd screen to the main part of the board and ta da the machine was up and running,, good as new,, or good as used,, which ever way you want to look at it

That's another problem. I'm nowhere near a repair facility. I have to do my own.

I own 8 LCD machines. Never had a lick of problems out of one of them.

The only thing you may have to watch out for with the LCDs is if it is winter out and the machine has been out in the cold you have to let them get up to room temp. long enough to evaporate any moister in or on the LCD and electronics. I was told by someone that learned the hard way. I know it's not winter any more (THANK YOU!) But thought I would put it out there.

The way some people crank up the air conditioning you would think it was winter sometimes. Especially in some restaurants!
