RE-introduction - old member renewing interest (Waterdown, Ontario
Just wanted to poke my head in and say hi! It’s been about 10 years I think since I haunted these forums regularly. (I worked heavily on coming up with fixes for leakey Knightsbridge LEDs in Eleco pachinko.)
I whittled my collection back to one 70’s Pachinko (after restoring a few), and a couple more modern pachinko (miss the Sea Story that I eventually sold) with ball lifters and a couple Pachislo which I am just hauling out of storage again (King Camel and Hanabi Hyakei). I also worked on and collected antique North American slot machines, and also have an original Miami Digger (rare in Canada as they were officially ceased and destroyed by our RCMP in the late 70’s) that I am restoring. I took a long seguey back to my first love; pinball machines, and spent the first part of the last decade and a half acquiring, repairing, selling parts, etc. Before basically whittling my collection down from about 20 pinballs to about 12 or so ranging from 1930’s to 1990’s.
It’s been quite the journey, but the Pachislo caught my eye again after sitting dormant during a long renovation, and then I thought about the folks here so thought I’d come poke around again. In doing so I see a bunch of handles from our local Ontario pinball groups here now as well!
