Question Once again, azlew is right!

I wouldnt of thunk it would happen again so soon but heres another bid thats higher than the offering website is asking for it online.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
And its the same machine with many of the same suspects littered throughout the bidders as on the last auction.

So, do you think TA will raise their website price AGAIN because of this?

BTW... did you ever get them to honor their advertised price?
Or do they still claim that they misplaced the "cheap" ones?

Talking Re: Once again, azlew is right!

Nope, its outta his hands is what I gathered from the spin.
I just cant figure out how a machine from a container thats due in 2 weeks & is the reason for the price increase due to fuel cost & the weak dollar is showing up on ebay now!
    Hey, 2 + 2 does = 4 1/2 dosent it??? Help me out here!!!
As to your 1st question about raising prices, bwahahahaha...

Maybe someone else can fill in the blanks here, then.

If Curtis isn't the top banana at TA... and he says "management" decided to not honor an advertised price on their website... who is it that makes such customer-unfriendly decisions?

I mean, we're talking about a machine that's obviously in stock, but simply not at the price they had advertised, right?

What amazes me, is that people here seem to roll with that spin.
Do folks here really think this is OK for a dealer to ignore an advertised price, raise it by $60 or so, and keep on going as if nothing happened?

I talked with Curt on the phone for about 15 minutes today & I have to say that like the guy!
I think what he did to me on this price change was a little underhanded but I like the guy anyway.
I just think hes possibly so wowed by his own brilliance that he thinks everyone else believes him without question!
But in spite of myself, I like the guy!

Do you like him well enough to buy a used car from him, Dude?
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

I think it is in the consumer protection act that they must honor an advertised price providing they have stock. However I doubt that web page exists.

I remember searching yahoo for tokens and someone came up with this story about steel prices a' rising, fuel costs to ship so they were adding $20 to every bag of tokens as a sur-charge. I sure wish I could find the link again for you guys. It just read like a snake oil advert. A real hoot.

Yep, Yep & Yep you all have him pegged like no tomorrow.
Guess Im just as big a knuckle head.
I have a friend, maybe I should say, Ive been a friend, to a guy named Ben for 20years. Hes tried to take my girlfriends, hes selfish, cheap & a coward to boot. But damn if I still dont talk to him at least once a week and enjoy our conversations too.
Sometimes, you just gotta overlook the bad & dig, I mean DIG, to find something worthwhile in some people.

It looks like mssweetnes112 (Dattia? nahh!!) just won a Pink P.
Maybe if we can get electricblonde (Dattia? hmmmm...) to win something we can get them to back off with all the crazy early bidding!

And in that 15 minutes, did he offer... to you, his new-found friend... to honor his original advertised price?
What a dance that must have been.

I actually brought up that he raised the price & then the dance began!
DID YOU KNOW, that he has $307 invested in every machine? That a container holding 548 units at a cost of $75000.00 is...wait a minute now, 548 into $75000.00 is $136.00 !?
Well, there is labor, warehousing, advertising...
Besides, I didnt say I was his new found friend or him mine. I just said in spite of whats gone down, I still like the guy.
But, Ive never met him or had any other dealings with him than this.
I will tell you, that if I had a choice of venders, this would certainly influence my purchase.

Curt is a sweet-talker, no doubt about it. Very likeable guy on the phone.

Not to mention the "management's" salary, right? You know, the ones that made that decision not to honor a posted price.

All the sweet-talkin' in the world doesn't make up for honor, and honesty, IMHO.

It continues to amaze me how stupid Curt thinks we really are. $75,000 for a container. A container of what, gold?

if fuel prices are the reason for the machine going up 60 in the price why didnt every other machine in that container go up 60, let me guess he'll say he ordered a whole container of just these machines. In my opinion raising the price like he did is bad business practices, i know ive sold a product and by time the customer placed the order the price of the product had went up so high that it eliminated my profit but i still gave the customer the product for the price i had quoted them.

I ordered a product off milt's site and he didnt update the price for the machine and it was still at his weekly specials price and it shouldnt have been and he still gave me the machine for that price and just doing things like that get customers to keep coming back
