    Default New Pachinko/Pachislo owner!

    Hello Everyone!

After 20 years of wanting to own a Pachinko machine the prime opportunity came. I found a nice woman selling a Yajikita Pachislo machine. It was a good price so I picked it up. Low and behold she also told me she had some older vintage Pachinko machines, the kinds with the LCD screens. I said sure. I wound up buying an extra Saint Maria Mozart Symphony and I talked her into selling me her beloved Thunderbirds Pachinko. I’m slowing learning all the functions and switches but it’s fun. The Mozart does look so cool at first but at night, when it’s lit up it looks beautiful. The thunderbirds as well looks good, but I haven’t figured out how to play the bonus game. When the ball lands in the middle, the LCD screens has a counter up to 4 but the more balls you land it just goes back down to 3 and back to 4. So right now it’s not as fun cause it’s always the same screen. If anyone has this machine I’d love some advice on how to activate a different movie or clip. Otherwise the machine is on its own custom made stand and it’s in great condition. I love em, I just need to make room as I also have large arcade cabinets in my family cave. Any advice or tips would be welcome. I’m already going to order some volume pots for them. I’ll take some pics soon and post em up. Thanks guys, as although I just joined I’ve been reading up on this forums for over a decade!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Sorry Peteybob, it won’t let me access the link you posted. Maybe I’m too new of a member. Thanks for the help though. For some reason, when I let my wife play she was able to get the bonus on the Thunderbirds Pachinko. Maybe I just got bad luck or something. Then again, after reading up on some stuff I decided to load up the hopper on top full of the bonus balls instead of being empty. Maybe that made a difference, who knows? Either way it’s fun but loud as hell! Between the Yajikita and Thunderbirds my neighbors could probably hear them.

    Here you go Martian

    Thunderbirds b.jpg

You'll hit the big one in time. Sometimes you can get a few back to back and other times you feel like you had launched 10,000 balls to get there. These machines are very random and sometimes seem stuck on the same sequence of screens. They can almost get boring for a bit but when they hit big then you love it all over again! This is why I have several machines set up and I rotate thru them most times when I play for several hours. Someone always seems to pay off

This guy paid off nicely last night

Thanks for posting that one up Peteybob. Mines a little different. It’s in a Orange and Blue Gearshock Frame with a large drilling machine animatronic type thing. I get what you guys say about the bonus and sometimes you gotta wait. The way the Thunderbirds bonus works is based on luck I guess. For some reason it just seems a little more difficult compared to the Mozart one we have. On average since you can push a button to try match the screens it seems a little skill based. My brother in law hit the highest jackpot I’ve seen on it. Since I don’t have many Pachinko Balls I had to keep rotating the balls that drop from the bottom of the machine as well as the balls you win back into the pay hopper on top. If you can imagine doing this for ten minutes. It was a pain but I was so excited because everyone was having fun. It was worth the wait and effort. I’m going to have to order more balls and tokens for both types of machines now.

Doing the ball shuffle can get exhausting after a while but it can also be intense at the same time

A commonly used supplier of balls and tokens is on eBay:

    https://www.ebay.com/str/Pachinko-Pa...p2047675.l2563

If you can afford it then I'd recommend 1000 balls and 500 tokens to start out.

My (different) Fuji has a built in volume control in the rear center of the cell down between some plastic covers. It is more of a small turning stick rather than a knob with markings of 0-9 for the volume. Worth a detailed look around for such an item on your machine.
