    I need help with a sanyo comet 2 pachinko.
    See photo. What is A (rod) do?
    The pachinko I have the A rod will not move.

    It should move to the left. It prevents you from shooting if you have too many payouts in the overflow, I think. Or is it if you run out of balls in the upper hopper?

    more specifically it is the overflow of the lower hopper..(not sued much in home play)

    when the front top try get over filled with winning balls they are overflowed to the bottom tray.. if the bottom try gets backed up to much the balls will backup all the way to the jackpot.. they built this mech into the machine so if the bottom tray fills up, it will deactivate the shooter from loading balls.. all the player has to do is remove balls from the bottom tray and it will swing back allowing the shooter to operate again..

    Like i said not really needed in home use.. not may of us have enough balls loaded in a vintage machine where it could back up that far..
