Default How do I pull the nails holding in the main attraction?

I'm looking at repainting a main attraction on one of my machines. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions about how to pull the nails that hold the main attraction in? It seems complicated and risky since the nails are sitting very close to the plastic piece. Thanks in advance!!!

I use a tack puller. Most nails in the attractions are smooth so they should come out fairly easily. Gently pry up the plastic slightly so you can access the nail head.

A piece of 1/16" thick sheet metal bent at 90 degrees with V cut out of it. I've made a few of these mini pry bars and they work great. The will bend as you use them. But nothing a bench vise can't fix.

    100 machines and counting...
