Default Can anyone recognise this Machine ?

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is, Pachislo's are difficult to get hold of in the UK and came across this, not sure if I "need" it

Thanks for the info, that seems to be it ! What make would this be ? (another test ) I can scroll through the link below if I know the manufacturer otherwise it's a bit of a task Is it LCD ? Can only find one entry on Ebay for "Pachislo HakaiOh" on Google from the seller coinopexpress.com but there is nothing really there either, just a small pic the same.

Thanks, that's great. Emailed the guy to see if he has a couple of other machines if I am going to go all that way for it ! (about 400 miles - that's a lot in the UK )

Your link seems to go to 2005 machines and I can't find anything from there but did find Luster machines on the http://www.n-pachi.jp/panfu/index_pachislo.html site and found the brochure for it.

Can't tell if it's LCD (like say Azteca Returns) Tri-colour LED - or both ! Have you ever played one ?

There's no LCD. It has a reel at the top with a LED dot matrix display inside.
The manufacturer was Techno Kohshin but company name has been changed to Luster since then.

    Si7,

This may not help, but couldn't help commenting, I only recognize the machine because its on ebay from the guy I bought mine from. I live in the same town as him so no problem with the travel.

He had a house full of machines when I went round to collect mine and a load more in storage.

He's a sound bloke and very trustworthy seller.

    Si7,

    I bought this one -

Sorry the pictures not very good, its quite an old machine without LCD but otherwise perfectly formed.

When I picked it up the man told me that it may take 10p's and sure enough it does, they are almost the same size and weight, perhaps a little heavier. I don't know if the newer machines will take them though as the coin mechs may be more sensitive, but if you ask the seller I'm sure he'll check. BIG word of warning though, don't go to cheap and put 2p's in because they jam the hopper .

Looks nice, I like the clean no fuss colour scheme, looks like an old traditional Bell Fruit or Bally fruit machine from ye olden days on the Pier (for me)

I agree, that was what appealed to me.

I think it looks like an old style Vegas machine compared to the huge English 6ft machines with nudges and millions of features.

The chrome finishes it off nicely too.

Now I was niave when I bought this and spent a few days looking for ways to get the machine to stop the reels automatically, but pushing the three buttons grows on you and I've stopped looking now.

Also, after playing the machine endlessly, and trying to skill stop the reels, I found that the machine will let you 'sort of' skill stop the reels but not to a win every time. You can skill stop them to within a few symbols of a win until it (the machine) wants you to have it.

To prove the point that your not really in control, when in bonus mode, you press the stop buttons, the wheels appears to stop immediatley, and you get a win (the same win) everytime without even trying. If you try to stop it on a non winner, you can't, how on earth can that be skill.

Note to the regular posters: PLEASE DON'T READ THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH AS A COMPAINT

I love that it is like this as it means that I don't have to try and skill stop it, I can just play it like a normal machine, coins in, buttons pressed, outcome win or lose. Hassle free, no standing for minutes each spin trying to stop the 7's or blue bars. I just let the machine do the work like a normal fruit machine.

I did read somewhere that the regulations on these machines require that the reels can have upto 190 ms or 0.19 of a second max to stop after you press the button - this allows something like 4 symbol skips if the machine program requires a certain reel position. Of course they can stop instantly if required too, anywhere from 0.00 - 0.19 second. I'm guessing clever symbol placement and outrageously clever designers/programming see's to every possibility being controlled by the hardware. These are truly mind boggling pieces of techo art, got to love 'em
