No, they were packed very tight, there was no room for pallets, or air for that matter.

Thumbs up Re: My Vendordom begins today.

    Congratulations PropWash !

Was there much damage and lots of units broken as we have been led to believe would happen?

One thing for sure is the part where you are welcoming local people to get units wholesale and unshopped at a good price. That is good marketing and I am sure you will get some interest on that also.

I am interested in seeing your list plus you might as well post a wholesale unshopped list here also.

There was almost no damage. I think there were 2 small transparent plastic light covers found on the floor of the truck, and those probably fell off when we unloaded and stepped on them. Other than that, there was maybe a total of 5 units I would consider 'damaged', and that was pretty much a scratched reel window, a loose set of reels, broken ashcup, and the plastics.

All in all, everyone that helped unload was shocked at how good the stuff held up.

Here is my list of what I have, naturally many of these are very limited in quantity, and would likely be unable to sell all of them at or near my price. (That whole fiduciary responsibility to the financier of this project)

I'll post a price near units Id like to move in volume to help 'clean house'. Remember, this is PachiTalk member pickup only, and Id prefer to move the units 4 or more at a time.

I hope to havea web site up with prices soon, but I need to get my shipping materials and process in order first.

PropWash : That's good news that you had very little damage. I imagine you were very nervous about the possibility of opening the containers just to find pieces and parts all over the place.

Your posting of your prices proves the cost of these unshopped is indeed what we thought.

I am sure plenty of people will be wanting to grab these from you, especially at the 47.00 (conversion artists especially) pricing.

Too bad you aren't in AZ as we could use a container like this here.

Well, it has been just over a week, and I have sold about 2 machines a day. Not too bad considering that I havn't TRIED to sell any yet. Word of mouth from people that helped unload them has people coming out of the woodwork.

This works out well as it helps bring cash in to work out other details before I start selling machines via Web and Ebay.

I bought about 30 power supplies from PowerVolt, I'm testing both 5amp and 6amp models with various machines. I have some various electrical test equipment that I'm using, and I'm a little suprised at how much these machines vary from model to model in relation to power consumption. Naturally I'm trying to test in the worst conditions (hot, bonus mode, high volume, purging coins).

I also converted a few machines from 24volt. I have a few things to improve apon, but as with any manufacturing, speed and quality need to be improved! I'm not sure I like how some of the power supplies get mounted, but I'm just a little picky I guess. I have to balance this out as I am looking to be a low cost part time seller. I'll leave the high grade work for the pofessionals.

Next up I will see about getting cusom foam made for packaging.

On a side note, as I'm selling machines off, I am seeing some models in person for the first time. This could be bad, as so many units that seems fairly un-interesting unplugged, become MUST HAVES after playing with them a bit.

Now, at home I have Neo Magic Pulsar (My first machine) Cyborg 009, Death Valley, Fire Drift, Sinbads Adventure, King Pulsar Ace, and Dance Night.

Thats all I need, another thing to collect.

Kalamazoo huh? I'm in Shelby Township, looking for a couple more machines or more. I would love to see which ones would be of interest for me to customize. I have experience in backlit graphics, so it should be a tad easier. I just want to do so and leave the least amount of japanese writing as possible. PM me a contact number Please.

I'm trying to get the web site up, and its about ready to go, but I still havnt worked out my packaging issues. I have a quote for boxes, but the Die Cut Foam people are less than excited by my low quantities.

The prices above are no longer valid, as I have moved quite a few units locally. I will have an updated price list on my to-be-named website eventually. Over the next few weeks most of my attention will be going to another project, so I'll be MIA for a bit.
