    Default Voltage

    Hi everyone,

I'm on my way to order my first Pachinko, Garo Gold Storm
60kg the beast and going to be shipp in to part...crazy ^^

Enfin voilą, that's not the reason way I'm writing here,

The machine needs 100v, and I only have 110v transformer, is it really important those 10v difference ? Or like for arcade cabinets, will make no difference ?

    Thanks in advance

As long as the 110v is the current used in your region you should be okay. Japan's standard voltage is the 100v but pachinkos run on 24vac. You just need to transform your voltage down to the machines level of 24vac.

    Fun looking machine

    Thanks for your respond.

No in my region the current use is 220v. I'm going to use a transformer to stepdown, but mine goes down to 110v.
Don't have any problems with my japanese arcade machine, some run at 100v and other in 110v, but nothing as burn in 12 years.

Ase pachinko are looking more technicals than arcade, I was wandering if those 10v could be an bad isue

Should be ok. But I like to fit 220 to 24 transformers on mine. Just makes the wiring neater.

My machines had a tag on them that was 24 volt AC The one machine I had with problems, someone with old owner plugged it in to 110 volt AC That excess voltage blew Trans-voltage suppressor, varister, and winding in motor up. Make sure machine is 110 v ac and not 24 v ac

Yes. All modern pachinko are 24vac. If yours came with a 100 - 24 volt transformer. You should be fine with a 220 - 110 volt transformer. I do for testing if a machine turns up with a transformer fitted. But after testing. Install a proper 220 - 24 volt transformer.
