Sammy problem solved - a matter of gravity

I was having great difficulty with my new Sammy Aladdin machine dumping coins in the bottom of the case and also causing coin feed jams (CE error). The problem was traced to a metal bracket attached to the door that guides the tokens into the hopper. The bottom edge of the bracket was slanted UP.

Now, gravity doesn't work that way... my solution was to remove the bracket and pound the dickens out of the lower edge to flatten it to match the main part of the bracket, slanted down. Voila! Gravity works! With the rap of a hammer, and a little bit more... I dumped a few hundred tokens into the machine and every one went into the hopper. Problem solved.

I had to make a similar adjustment to my Neo PlanetT. My guess was the parlor it came from was in a major earthquake and the building was slightly tilted to the left.
