Default My first machine and post

Pachinko Front 2.jpgMy first post - My first experience with Pachinko was in about 1965. Two kids down the street had two machines in their garage. I remember having a lot of fun playing those machines. I was at a Goodwill store last week and they had one behind the counter. I asked the guy how much and he replied “$15.00” and I said “I’ll take it”. It was like a dear in the headlights moment. I did not care what shape it was in, I was determined to take it home and get it working. With help from the internet, here is wat I have done so far.
Nishijin Shiroi-Kamome 1976 “Man with one barefoot fishing”

    1. General cleaning of the machine.
    2. Replaced the broken Plexiglas.
    3. Replaced one jackpot light & grommet.
    4. Soldered wire to get the empty ball hopper light working.
    5. Repainted the center feature
    6. Installed a 9V wall wart.
    7. Purchased 500 balls.
    8. Adjusted the position of the wire release (paperclip) at the win ball exit chute to get the jackpot cycle to complete.
    9. Added an overhead light.
