    Default 1999 ufo cr machine

I have machine I bought that won't shoot balls. Machine was plugged into 110 v and blew up a couple things. On the PC board thats on shooter I found a blown jumper chip. I fixed that and shooter works for few balls before starting to smoke. there was a electronic part that was burned so bad I don't know what it is. There is a V1 on the board where part was. I note the resistors have R1,R2 on board and Cap C1,C2 etc. It a picture if I can figure out how. I think this part was damaged by the 110 v and if I find out what it is and replace it will be OK201_0641.JPG201_0636.JPG

Maybe a photo of the machine would help so members can look to see if they have the same machine and prove some photos of the board/part.

Hello tincan39 and welcome to the group

I have a couple older Sankyo's that I'll take a look at to compare with yours.

Does your machine have a 24VAC transformer? These machines aren't designed to be plugged directly into our household current.

Here is what I have and it is a little different. The component at the V1 location is marked with "NEC 047 12". I have another which is much newer and has a "NEC 047 5X" in the V1 location. I don't know enough about electronics to tell what this is or what the values represent but perhaps this can help.

The date code is cut off in the photo. Sankyo has it listed as a 1995 machine not "1999".

The machine in the photos is not "ufo".
There is a Sankyo UFO but it's a different machine.

Bryan I thought I had that CR figure out. My one machine with problems has a TV screen in the middle so I thought that meant it was a CR. My other has a box in middle with a little girl that opens and closes her arms. Going by what that TV had on it [1999 and the letters UFO] I thought it was 1999 UFO I just bought these machine last two weeks so have much to learn. thanks for info and I'll try to figure out the name and year.

CR stands for card reader, a method for dispensing pachinko balls. Your machine doesn't have that.

Can you post pictures of your other machine? Details: how much did they cost, etc. It sounds like a hanemono. Those are more desirable to me.
Also sounds like another early modern, non CR.

Carl I think the good one is a hanemono. I got it in Rockford for $75 Super nice Clean, works, has cabinet and 850 balls I'll see if I can post picture. I did figure that part I burned up is a Varistor from a post from Peteybob. Now if I knew the values I could order one. [ NEC 047 12 ] numbers don't cross to anything. I just don't know that much about electronic. Just try to use common sense. Thanks for info about CR. for some reason I thought that was machines that has TV screen.

Maybe someone can identify this machine; definitely is an early modern, non CR, Hanemono.

Object is to get a pachinko ball in the bottom pockets labeled "1" or even better "2".
Then in the 1 or 2 seconds following; get a pachinko ball in the center feature pocket labeled "V".

You can open the glass window and force a "fever"; it is fun to play. The wings open and close, making it easier to sustain once the initial sequence is "hit".

Thanks to all for help. I found out the part I need for shooter is Varistor, I think I can get that easy. What I may have trouble with is the 24vac motor. If anyone has a for parts hanemono machine I think the motors are all alike. I saw three machines and all motors were same. Email me and we can make a deal for good motor. That motor is left side and down by bottom in picture.

Well you have the right username that is a DC tin can motor, important points for motors are RPM , duty cycle and torque. The number on the label doesn't give me much but the same type of motor is often used in microwaves for the turntable. The one I have in my parts bin is 21v but it may be worth checking it out if you can bet a broken microwave cheap.
