Well to "test the waters" I ordered some small items. Which turned in to a lot of small items because I have no self control. Now about 20 small things are on their way to their warehouse. Nothing was over a pound a piece, I'm wondering what that charge would look like to just combine everything from that in to one order.

I learned that one the hard way. Had to pay for the product, domestic shipping, and then had to pay them to throw it away for me. I wonder if I could put a couple cans of cell cleaner in my checked baggage on the trip home from Japan?

When I went they were pretty adamant about not taking anything remotely flammable back in your bag. However things like liquor (Which could be flammable too) and drinks were OK. I guess the worst thing that could happen is you put it in your checked bag and it gets held up. I forgot I had put a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in my checked bag and they let it go.

So the points system seems a little enigmatic to me? Can you use the points to pay for stuff, and can you use them to pay for shipping? Also, how often do the ranks go up? Once a quarter or like annually?

I think the rating is done monthly depending on your spending over the past 12 months. The points system can be used ad part or full payment. For both products and shipping.

You always come though with the info haha. Thank you.

I'm still but a lowly regular user, I should get bumped up to Samurai here soon then.

I have noticed in some of the auctions I've been watching a slow increase of the number of "buyers" asking questions in English.
Some are outright scams like the one below. But others are more subtle. I contacted one saying quite clearly that I was not the seller but advised them of reputable websites and deputies who can buy for them including the item in question. The response back was weird as they asked me if the item was still available and could they by 2. Then pay me an extra $1000 for my trouble. So instantly added to the spam list.

Of course if you want to subscribe said email address to unsolicited email lists and spam the spammers. Who am I to complain.
I just hope these spammers don't have a negative effect on us genuine buyers.
