help for 1974 Nishijin model 4200 AKA model-B pachinko ABC lanes

hello, i hope someone can help me. sometimes the jackpots work, sometimes they don't. when they don't, the seesaw thing at the back stays down and the jackpot ball goes to this shoot at the right bottom and just queues up and nothing happens. sometimes the jackpots work. What should i do?
i have a video of the process if anyone wants to see it and can send photos if that would help

any help appreciated!!

Most often inconsistent payouts are due to dirty or sticky pivot points. Pictures are always helpful.

I would start at the top with the ball tray and work your way down one section or piece at a time, the objective is to clean out as much dust, dirt, and grime as you can. Also clean the Pachinko Balls and then separate the rusty ones from the shiny ones.

so i have got rid of all the rusty balls (almost) and cleaned the tracks (they were filthy). When both rows are full, jackpot works great. but it is still getting jammed in that one spot even tho i cleaned it. how can i make the balls flow thru there? that is definitely the problem!! see pics below post cleaning

It looks like you still have some dirt in the track and the balls could use a good cleaning. If you don’t have a tumbler a good wash in hot soapy water followed by a really hot rinse and then spread them out on a bath towel and dry them really well. Also more balls in the top hopper will help. Increased weight should help keep things moving. If that is all the balls you have you’ll have to refill after every two or three jackpots. 500-1000 balls for a vintage machine should be enough to keep everything running without having to shuffle balls every couple minutes.

also in the ramp down from the bank of jackpot balls it is supposed to be 2 lanes.....but a little jam seems to make it one lane.....is that the issue? how to fix that? see picIMG_0265.jpg

That appears to be the issue, only filling the jackpot half full.

That ball jam will cause troubles. Both lanes must stay full.
