That's so awesome! My goal is to have an area like that with a bunch of machines. I could purchase an extra vendor spot next to our RarezHut spot.
I get the key tomorrow, so I can assemble and finally test out my X Japan machine!

    Machine wishlist:
    Persona 4
    AKB48
    an Evangelion one
    Cowboy Bebop
I saw a Babymetal one somewhere....can't seem to find it again
I would love a Castlevania one, but they made it kinda...adult? Not sure it would be allowed.
I WISH there was a Final Fantasy one

Just got my machine and set it up! I'll take a video, but a few questions.
Is there a free play mode? Spent balls keep coming out the front bottom (prize balls) and front play hopper instead of going out back.
Is there a place to order all the emulator stuff that's in the US?
what's the best resource for getting a cabinet/frame like in the photos above?
What's the advantage of a battle counter?

As I said in post #13

The ad said the machine had been converted to cyclic. Meaning some of the internal ball paths have been cut out. That's why the balls come out the front, not the back.

Data counters are a personal choice. Unless you like the extra lights and like to keep track of stats. It's not that important. If you build a cabinet with a large hopper on top. Fitting a counter helps to disguise it's true purpose.

If the machine has been converted full cyclic then you don’t have a need for an emulator. Since all your losing balls come back to the front you don’t have to call the supply hopper to give you more balls. Also, you may not need a cabinet if your main reason was an expanded hopper. With full cyclic you’ll only need 100 balls to run the machine. You may just want to add some feet or a base for greater stability.

Of course this also means the machine isn’t a great option in a pay to play setup since the player never loses balls. You could put a time limit on play and charge for blocks of time rather than number of balls. Or you could see if someone local can undo the modifications. Given your limited use of hands this might be a bit more of an undertaking than you can take on. Some players prefer cyclic, other don’t. If you find you don’t like the mods you may be able to find someone willing to trade for your modded machine.
