    Default What’s this wire for, and is it absolutely necessary???



    Looks like one of those door reset sensors when the key is turned to the left. I never use those. Is this correct?

    exposed pins with voltage on them is never good. probably why its unplugged.
    Don't know the machine or the location of said wire. No idea

    The machine is Rai Rai Gokuu

    The wire goes where I’m holding it. It’s missing the black “U” shaped plastic that straddles the gold locking arm. That’s what seemed to cover the exposed pins.



    My question, is this wire necessary? All the machines seem to have one; a set of wires that go from the board to the gets activated by passing the metal slide through it.

    Well I would replace it, On my machines you need to use the soft reset to clear errors, like it the hopper runs out of tokens and you refill it.

    The black thing is a Photo-interrupter
