    Default Looking for help

    Picked up the Kitac New Tairyo machine the other day.

    Its my first one and know nothing about it.
    I found the "odds" button and understand that. But don't know what the 2 switches on the power supply do or the small switch on the front panel (in the pics I'm pointing to it!)

    Any help would incredibly awesome.

    Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position.

    無 = off

    有 = on

    The one on the door is probably the volume control which changes the sound from extremely loud to excruciatingly loud.

    Hello all, and thank so very much for everything...

    New question- is it abnormal for the machine to take 4 coins to make 1 credit, then each coin after is another credit until you payout, then it resets back to the 4:1 / 1:1...

    Just trying to figure out the reasoning behind the process. Definitely not a deal breaker. So far I've got out all cleaned up and working great otherwise. Might look for a topper, as it seems like it had one before...

    There may be 3 small leds that light up on the first 3 coins.

    Credits are anything more than your bet. The first 3 tokens are your bet, they're credits after that.

    I have this same machine. Got it from a neighbor (husband paid too much ).
    I'm still working on the settings switches in the power box. The problem is the alarm keeps going off requiring a hard reset. (I'm losing my hearing from the volume!!) It's like the tokens being inserted are randomly setting an alarm for unknown reasons. Is there something I can reset, unplug, disconnect, talk to, or clean off to get this to stop?

    sounds like a dodgy token acceptor. could just need a clean or a sesnor is on the way out. Of course that is a complete guess as I don't know the error code

    Thanks for the input. There's no error code shown, just a blaring alarm.

    I'm new to the forum (thank you for this!!!) and have had this machine for a a couple of hours. I'm fascinated, but nervous about the glitches at the same time. I can't play it at night - my grandsons are asleep and this outrageous noise is too much.

    Hello vickyv and welcome to the group

    Great info from above

    Can you post some pictures of your machine? Another member may spot something out of wack that could be your fix. (pics have a size max of 2 meg each) Pictures with the power on of the front, inside of door and inside of the cabinet.

    So when do you have to do the reset.
    Straight after power up. Or after you start putting tokens in.

    I have found on two of my machines that the slightest buildup of debris off of tokens (oils or food particles from fingers, dust and pet dander, etc...) exiting the coin mechanism will cause a CE/CP error due to the token slowing down but not stopping upon exit (area of red arrow). They slow down just enough to trip the second sensor on mine. This caused the constant alarm which can be temporarily silenced by disconnecting the speaker(s). The reset will still be needed until resolved.

    Also you can check the sensors with the power on and using most new phone cameras. With the camera on and pointing at the sensor you should see the sensor light glowing a bit. Try this at various angles if you don't see a light at first.

    I have to reset after I start putting tokens in. Very random. Sometimes it's 10 minutes, sometimes it's the 3rd coin dropped.
