    Default Ball lifter power consumption.

Hi, ive just ordered myself a silver ball lifter from japan via buyee.
Got it pretty cheap at £67.80 (yahoo.jp item no u180621089 if you can find it). Has anyone used buyee to import stuff before?

    Anyway the main question:

Does anyone know the wattage that it uses so i can decide what 230-100 volt transformer i need?

Never used buyee. I use FromJapan, shopping mall Japan and Juno @ bidservice

Not sure on consumption. I used the 300w one from Maplins as it plugs straight in. Might be overkill. But bigger is better than too small as that will overheat and be a safety risk. But 100w one should be fine. The motor on them is pretty simple. If someone wants to measure the current underload it would be interesting. I replaced my lifters with the 24vac ones made by Daiichi which are conveyor chain style over a cog push system of the silver lifters.

That lifter you got has all the options on it.
You have the pressure plate that goes in the top tank.
The door open switch that prevents the lifter working if the machine is open.
Plus you have the lifter overflow with a 10 ball counter on the end of it.

Thanks for getting back to me. I might go for a slightly higher powered transformer to be safe (they're only cheap anyway).

Didn't realise it had a door switch, that's an added bonus!
I'm just hoping the shipping costs and any import duty on it aren't too expensive. I'm hoping it won't cost me more than £130 all in overall

Ill be linking it to a 2005 star wars machine. I also own a spiderman neo of a similar age,but that dosen't have a cabinet.

ive had them both since about 2009 but they've sadly been in storage unused.

Hello ernie99uk and welcome to the site

Here is a picture from the auction in case anyone else is curious.

I have the same model and out of curiosity I found that it uses 28-30 watts under a load using a simple meter plugged into my 110V/120V current.
