    Hi

The one I remember playing as a kid, "and the only one I ever had access to at that time back in the early 80's" was vertical but instead of launching the balls in a reverse 9 pattern, "like all the ones I have seen so far" it would launch it like your average pinball machine would, straight up and over to the left. This was a machine my cuisine had, I remember always having to reach behind it to get more balls after running out, and when the glass door got broken that was the last time I got to play it.

Was it a Bagatelle game rather than a pachinko maybe?

Hi From what I saw on google it definitely wasn't a Bagatella game. From what I can remember it was in a pachinko case, it looked just like one, it had metal and plastic tulips, had the nail pegs, it had the normal jackpot tray and ball launcher trays in front, but the only real difference was the playing field was taller to accommodate the pinball launch style. I should contact my cousin and see if they still have it, but after 38 years I have a feeling they dont.
