.....then it just might be. Check this out. Has anyone played this machine?

Certainly seems like a deal for the price.

Looks like a bargin to me. Any slot for that price is a bargin. Not to mention that the seller is an active member here. You'll find his link in the vendor section. So you know you can trust him. Which makes this an even better bargin.

He gave it a 4 out of 5 for looks, sound and playability.

Geez, he has 11 of them at that price!?!?! Wow, I would expect he isn't making much off of them. Great gift idea!

the reason he is selling for a lower price is that they are large token machines.

I like the colored leds around the reels.
But I have to keep telling myself.
I have 5 slots now! I have room for 4!
I want 4 more pachinkos! I have room for none!

I have room for eight comfortably. That KC will be my 23rd machine since I started this hobby. Sure you have room. You just haven't found it yet.

Okay, Tulsa. I have to ask. You have 23 machines...
How long have you been in this hobby, or had this addiction?

My first machine was a Hot Area and I purchased that in Feb 04. I did all the classic wrong things like spend and extra $69 on an auto-stop kit for it. Wanted to convert it to quarters but never did. I had the immediate rush of a few more machines purchased fairly quickly. Lets face it, these are addicting because they're great and there's so many to have.

After the Hot Area, I purchased a Jupiter Queen, Betty Boop, Azteca Legend, Babel and a K1 Punch Rush. I wanted the Lion King real bad but the price just never came down on it. Learned later there was no "Lion King" and it was just vendor spin. The AZL came to me in pretty bad shape so I worked a deal with the vendor and got my Terminator. So after that first month I had seven machines.

We didn't know nearly as much about them as we do today and at the old way (that pay site) Davis and I who started about the same time were learning from our good friend Azlew. He'd been in it longer and he already had a pachinko and a Spin Luck.

The Spin Luck was my next purchase and where I really started to slow down and pick up only the premium machines. Average or less expensive machines had no flair for me any longer. My knowledge was growing and as it did, I realized the premium machines were more fun. And of course they looked better in my sig line.

I vowed not to do with pachinko what I did with pachislo's. I'd been picking Lew's brain and watching the auctions for months but didn't pull the trigger until June of last year. Lew has an Arabian Nights and would enlighten us all on the virtues of pachinko and I had to have at least one. Davis never did get a pachinko. Goes to show you how two guys coming in at the same time can go different directions. He stayed with pachislo's, got into customizing and selling them. I followed more along Lew's path and was the pure collector, just wanting to play them.

Pachinko's were ugly though. All those bright pastel colors contrasting each other and you had the sense at the time the Japanese had no idea about color coordination. Then I found it, there was a Lupin III in this neat looking silver case and it's the one I focused on. It was the first good looking pachinko I'd seen. Slotsusa was selling them and they stayed going for over $300 and that was more than I paid for the Spin Luck and I wasn't about to go that high. Soon, they were all gone but one day a Thunderzone popped up on the radar. Same cool silver case. I sniped the first one out at $212. All I could say when I got it was WOW!

Well there's a long answer to a really short question. Sorry for the novel.

some people don't like to mess with another size token, i have one large token machine and would buy another one if i had the room.

half dollar size tokens sound nice when shooting into the payout tray

No appology necessary for a long answer, Tulsa!

I found it very interesting in fact. I bought my first about 5 years ago, traded it off then got it back. I've mentioned before of my long love of the old mechanical one armed bandits, got the Mills then the Galloping Dominos. I was thinkiing of going only with the antiques.

Had a long dry spell, bought my second Pachislo, the King Jack and it was more fun to play than the Wai x2 Pulsar. I was very leary of buying off eBay until I saw and read Lddrizzt's report on eBay and found PachiTalk in March.

I paid WAY too much for the Wai x2 Pulsar and the King Jack, but I could pick them up locally and that was too much temptation.

I'm being a little more selective about the machines I still want, but we'll just have to see what happens there.

Playability, sound and looks still dominate my wishes.

Nice little bio Tulsa. As far as the machine, that's a great price. Personally though, I only like to have one size tokens, so to me it's not worth it. But if you are ok with the 2 different size tokens then hells yeah, do it up!

The auction has been going on for 2 days and only one buyer so I guess it is not a deal that many want. Also someone asked about this buyer before, I guess he is bidding on a lot of machines.

I got for the different machines $1.00 size tokens (two types for different machines), 30mm (pai) tokens, 25mm (pai) tokens, 25¢ pieces (for the old mills slots), 5¢ pieces (for trade stimalators), 1¢ pieces (for trade stimalators).
Yes it can be a pain in the ash tree, but that's life.

You know what's really funny. I could put that machine up for a regular auction and it would sell for more than the fixed price. I did a fixed price one time for a machine (I think it was a Tom Cat or Exhaust). I put the price at like $225 and nobody bid on it and it ended. I then put it up as a no reserve auction and sold it for over $300. Go figure...

Anybody know the "secret process" ?
