I like the idea but I always wonder what happens when the computer craps out. How easy (hard) is it to get it running again?

If there is a harddrive fail from what I understand its a matter of redownloading the licensed games from Steam. But otherwise like anything computerwise the hardware can be fixed or replaced.
No argument here about price.
Anyone else know about competitors for this?
