    Default Greetins from Austria

    Hi,

My Name is Mike (Zyx) and i am an Arcade Collector located in Tirol/Austria. I am also interested in history and occasionally
i write for my blog http://zyx-arcade.eu/ (mainly german)

Its nice to see the pachinko community is as passionate as the arcade people and tinkering superb Mods and so on.
I few weeks ago got my first Pachinko (Star Wars Revenge of Darth Vader Gold Frame) and i am learning a thousand things
at the moment. I have the feeling that this will not be the only Pachinko in my life ^^

So thanks in advance for your patience and the help

    Mike

Hello again Mike and a big welcome to the group

Ask anything anytime as someone is always around here somewhere. The new Star Wars is a fun and busy looking pachinko!

Welcome Mike! I have that same game, minus the "clicking" sound because it has been modified on it! IT is lots of fun~

I am not the expert (more like the esquire who will never become a knight) in this pachinko-verse but many here will help!

Now...that being said, PLEASE show us photos of your 'man cave' or home arcade! I also love classic arcade!

Minus the clicking sound !! ,
please share your secret with us on how it's being modified ?
I love the attract mode, would leave it on al night if it wassend for that annoying clikking sound. (I could live with it ! but the Missis ? )

I was thinking already to put some kind of little switch between the power wires that feed these tumblers.
So you would have to switch it on before you begin your Game. and you can switch it back of when you go back in attract mode.
what's keeping me from doing that is that ?,
i'm afraid the machine would go in some kind of error mode if I would interrupt the power to the tumblers (as if the computer thinks some things broken)

I also thought of strategic placing some damping material between the tumblers (but i'm afraid there's not enough room for it and maybe won't hold very long ?)

So please what was your solution, you made me very curious now.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome here. Some members already helped me, thats really awesome!

I couldnt hear any clicking sound in the attracked mode and not sure what you mean Is this only
when i start the Pachinko and dont play or is this also when i interrupt the game? When i interrupt
the game then my pachinko stops sound and only continues when a new ball is shot into the game.

Could you make a short video and show me that?

    thanks alot!

My fault , i've schould have read your post better ,that you mentioned "Revenge of ...." instead of "Battle of ..."
I just assumed it because "Calypso" who has a "Battle of ..." as well was replying you about the clicking sound.

    Sorry for my misunderstanding

So what's your opinion on putting a switch between the power line to these tumblers ? could it be that the computer sees it as an error ?
(Because if they are "off" while you playing your chances of winning are limited. not a huge problem for private use but in a Pachinko Parlor !)
