    try this link:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/CASTLEVANIA...l/152770399837

The $500 shipping cost seems high for EMS delivery. I've paid a lot less via DHL and Fed-Ex out of Japan. Is a handling or service fee a part of the $500?

Oh and welcome to the group

Have you ever seen a machine there call Virus Breaker? I'm interested in finding one but have not been able to find any information.

I will list on Ebay if you need it.
    Or selling it with paypal.

It is pachinko (ball 1000, key) 470USD.

If a transformer is required, the transformer is 50 USD.

EMS economy Flight shipping fee and packing cost are 500USD.

Currently I am also asking Fedex for shipping fee.
I will get in touch with you from Fedex tomorrow.

(DHL was higher than EMS economy flight)

Please ask me anything. Thank you very much.

    Welcome Aboard

I thought most moderns would be over the 30kg weight limit imposed by the post office. Although that is a slightly older model. I would think it would be over especially with 5.5kg of balls.

    Thank you for the reply.
When delivering by EMS from Japan, I deliver pachinko and pachinko cells separately.
One box is less than 30 kg.
If shipping by ship, the cost will be cheaper.
But in the case of a ship it takes 1-2 months to arrive. . .

That does explain the higher shipping cost because it is two large and heavy boxes. Thanks

Yeah that can be a challenge when exporting to the US market. In a lot of cases the shipping alone is going to be more than most want to pay for an entire machine. I do want that machine though so it is something I have to consider pretty seriously. I looked at buying a machine from Japan before and they quoted me the same shipping cost, at that time I passed. They said if I ordered a whole container (150 machines) shipping would be lower and the cost of the machine would be about half. but even then, $30,000 to import 150 machines that would take me 5 years to sell doesn't sound like a great business model on my end. :-)

Plus another 5K if customs decides to open it for inspection and the cost to get it from the port to your site. The cost's can add up really quick for a container load or just a few machines. It all comes down to how much do you want something and the availability.

Was that for a 20 or 40 foot container? Given the size of the boxes I've gotten out of Japan I could see that being a 40 footer.

    Thank you for the reply.
pachinko & 1000 balls & transformer & packing material is about 55 kg.
EMS is up to 30 kg in one box.
I will ship 55 kg of goods in 2 boxes. (Make it a box of about 30 kg & about 25 kg)
This delivery method is the cheapest at the moment.

Please tell me if there are other good delivery methods etc.
    Thank you.

Other than EMS and the slow boat I have used Fed-Ex Economy service which is decent for a single box at 43kg. I have also used DHL but at a higher cost for quicker delivery and very few times of a large box being handled.

I for one am willing to pay extra for a better service if the goods are that important to me or to someone else I might be importing for. Having the options of delivery services is good to know for me in getting things into the US.

Agreed, but am I wrong to not want to drop $1000 on a machine that is %50 shipping from an unknown source? That's the issue I have. Not having any visibility into delivery time frame, or guarantee that it will arrive is a bit scary.

We have imported 4 or 5 containers of pinball machines from Italy here in Seattle over the last couple of years. Those end up being much more expensive, and we have organized group buys. But pinball is very easy to move. Pachinko is so niche, 150 machines could take a lifetime to actually sell :-). The costs are really easy to cover with 20 - 30 pinball machines that you can sell for somewhere between $1500 and $5000 per machine. A couple hundred bucks per machine takes a lot of machines to cover that extra 5k risk.

I promised to meet a Fedex salesman.
I will tell him to make the delivery cheaper.

When everyone imports 1 piece of pachinko from Japan, is the shipping fee high when it is 300USD?
How much can you consent how much?
I would like to hear your opinion before speaking to Fedex salesmen. I will negotiate it with reference to it.
    Thank you.

If sent by container, machine will be half price or less. I sent pachinko & pachislo in the past in containers. At EXW.

    I negotiated with Fedex.

In the case of pachinko size 50 to 60 kg, it was over 800USD to Western countries.

The shipping method that can be shipped cheaply to the West is shipping by international mail ship.

    Separate cells and frames separately.

You can ship in all around 250 to 280 USD.

    I can export most pachinko.

Too old pachinko is impossible. . .
Please contact me at any time.
We will make secure transactions with paypal.

    Thank you very much.
