    Default Random Assemblies?

I cannot find this exact machine ANYWHERE online. Did Nishijin just add random parts to their machines? This is the front of the machine I bought this weekend. It has the playfield of a 1973, but the center attraction I haven't seen on anything but a 1972.

Has anyone come across one like this yet?

There is a huge amount of mixed looks out there. Seems that the manufacturers and repair folk liked to keep the mix going to attract players all the more.

Could be that whit was early'73 when it was built, but they used parts leftover from '72.

Very likely. Everything is 1973 outside of the center feature which could have been a leftover from 72. Though it may have also been installed when the machines were "refurbished" before leaving Japan. I have seen a few machines with some mixed parts that I believe are from the refurbishing process. (mainly mixed spinner colors)

    100 machines and counting...
