    Default staple replacement

    Hi all!

I got myself a new-to-me Model A Nishijin(says Super Deluxe on the bottom of the front face). The problem that I'm running into is that it's only fastened with staples, so I know I need to replace those with screws or something. I was wondering what you wonderful experts suggest to use (screw/nail size)?

    Thank you!

pre drill small holes threw the plastic and just into the first ply of the wood.. then remove the parts and clean.. once your ready to put things back you have nice holes in the plastics and little divots in the plywood that were not sanded away like a pencil mark would be.. then reattach with screws.. something small 3/8 to 1/2" long should be more then enough

#4 3/8" pan head wood screws. You can buy them in boxes of 100 at ACE hardware (best deal out there).

    100 machines and counting...
