On all the machines I have had made from 2000 onwards including striping and overhauled and returned back to normal from cyclic. As the winning and losing balls leaves the cel. They get merged back into one channel in the frame then exit through one hole. The processor counts the wins and remembers the payouts due to be paid when possible if the hopper is empty. Having had to reconstruct this merging section can be a nightmare.

Win balls only get held in the machine when the processor has no memory function as on vintages and early moderns like my 1994 Monako hanemono. As storing win balls until payout possible is a number one cause of ball jams behind the cel
