    Default Hippo Vintage Pachinko

Wow that's a awesome looking machine. I just picked up an old hippo game yesterday. This is my first machine, can anyone help if I'm missing any parts for the hippo payout? Thank you for your help.

Cool looking center. Is that 2 loose wires above the center feature on the back? Never saw one like that.

Welcome to the group! Nice machine. The upper track cover looks to be missing, unless you took it off before taking the pictures. You will definitely need it in place to use the machine.

I thought "animal land" was an early modern hanemono...

Those two wires near the center feature are interesting. Are they hooked up to a bulb? A switch? A motor?

The model C mechanism is easy to remove, sometimes a few screws need to be removed but the squeeze pins hold it on the wood back.

Unfortunately, it brought over that title on some of the posts when I moved them here to their own thread, which has the correct title and future posts here should also have the correct title of 'Hippo Vintage Pachinko'

The wires in the middle near the white box leads to a light bulb. No motors on this machine, it might be from 1977. I watched some videos of others on the internet and the hippo mouth moves when it hits the plastic peice above the hippos head. This is My first machine and still learning about how everything works. Thank you all for your time and info.

Thank you for the compliment on the machine. Picked it up on craigslist for $65.00. Thinking I go a fair deal.
